a satanic black mold
has invaded my home
it permeates the corners
where even light wont roam
it changes the air
and wisps by your eyes
scraps grooves in your fear
and evolves in its lies

i know that its there
as to, its aware of me, i'm sure
its gradient of ferocity
steepest before dawn
shadows are its faith
and they hide its fume
when it breaks from cover
all hell breaks loose

i can see my child
as she plays with her toys
her eyes following something
this side of the void
then i espy a dark mass
a crippling fear shakes
a satanic black mold
no demon is just happenstance
