Muscles strain.
One breath, two reps.
Push through the pain.

Tears catch; burn.

Across my face, blink; return.

Her face is on my mind;

                  Think about her; what you lost.
                        Break; shoulders shake,                 heave,                 gasp,
build back up; Breathe. Then again, strain. Forget the pain.

                too many thoughts,

                                                       but in vain...
                                          Muscles catch,
                            heart strains,
              breaks, the pain too much to sustain,
                             the pain of her face; encompassing my brain,
