Have you ever had a candle
that instead of giving bright relief
would not be properly handled
and only brought you luminous grief?

A strain is placed on my eyes
As I struggle to engage in a story,
But for a story it is coarse and boring.
That sleep comes early is no suprise.

Medieval life - could this be real?
I could get used to the nobility,
But I know this rainy night all too well,
It brought me reluctantly back to reality.
