and the Night
( which once was ours ! )
Was it YOU I used to hold ?
Was it YOU I used to know ?
///
Why the masks ?
Why the price tag on your hearts ?
////
Even your god !!!!
For sale like all the rest
Of our virtues and righteousness
••
We were THE PEOPLE !
Oh so many years ago
///
Slabs of meat
Gunned down by the police
who
Hold the Line
Keep YE safe at Christmas Time !
///
Long storm
Heavy rain
The child stumbles but keeps movin on
//
Perhaps it will be alright
Perhaps a new world may come
