creaking, creaking, and creaking
camouflaged pearls scattered in the grooves
of wool
congealed and stiff
collapsed in his frame

as the calm winds blow through
as his heel knocks
creaking, creaking, and creaking

the door warps and cracks
as the pearls yellow
as he sticks
and lays
and lies

warm soft sheets
freshly cleaned with fluffed pillows
sweet flowers of an intense aroma
pulled curtains revealing
golden crisp mountains

yesterday it was 7pm all day
the bed reeked, splattered with unknown spots
stiff dankness of food and humidity
among dust covered curtains

pristine counter tops
hot pots full of flavorful meals
scents of rosemary and broth
organized sets of silverware
dinners served with love

yesterday the flies continued to buzz
stacked dishes crusted and stuck
ignoring putrid air
and pulling out another cup of ramen

welcoming the idea of a brighter outlook
unwavering support to live as well as possible
warm hugs and kisses
and freshly laundered clothes
can only be possible with a light like yours

I feel a little sleepy
imagining tousled fluffy sheets
cold air kissing my cheeks
just lay my head for a short time
long dreams and a blissful wake
wouldn't it be absolutely divine?

Breathing silently
admiring the peace quietly
with no responsibilities or anxiety
i can't hear the tears
in my deep sleep.

pinpricks of light shine
through the rotting spokes
of the wooden shed
beside my bed
of hay and cloth
lay scratched frames and memories of
a wife, another, and a child

creaking oaks cut the air
howling boards cry
my trinkets shake and repeat
beside my bed
move closer
under the moaning shed
to rich and cool soil

putrid stale winds emit from below
nails peeling to the bone
twitching fingers mauling the dirt
under the bed

a peaceful silence
warmth from the earth
lays
my worn palms, clutching the ivory hands
of
my
wife
my
child

my
wife
my
child
and I

cha cha cha
our feet tangle with the beat
thighs blur rhythmically and our hips
don't stop moving
on an on until the güira drones to nothing

one two one two
our sweaty palms don't mean a thing
keep my hand in yours as we sway
with gentle movements
we maintain the dream until the silence breaks us

bang bang bang
our spastic movements make the room spin
tangled hair flashes like human strobes
breathing gets harder
but we'll only stop when the lights die

oh the pitter patter against my fogged window
a cool wind blows through my bones
gloomily watching the ditch overflow
I sit alone

letting the water rise through the woodwork
I wait for the creaking of splintering panels
as rust colored shoes float in the murk
the chest drowns, extinguishing the candles
whats your biggest fear?

love love love
repeating an echo
repeating an echo
we can all hear it
in the same space
at some point
at some point
Losers can

under moonlight skies
and among flowing streams
nearby toads croak
while laying down besides natures green

for fireflies light the sky bold and wide
music cuts through thick fog
as insects swarm as far as the eye can see
while laying down besides natures green

it rained all day
the waxing tide shifted blades of grass
sparkles shimmered across a field
chilled winds and humid breaths
held tight under the canopy

quit shouting heartbreak!
can that feeling be so unique?
says I, who's single

one peel
to you I smile warmly
forgiving and reassuringly
to you my clothing is well pressed
and I say everything is fine

now two peels
to your eyes my reflection seems cold
words crafted just for you
to move with unease
and wavering for a little longer

and the third peel falls
you're not here
and I have nothing to say alone
and to you
I move farther away

until an extra peel appears
from you, a gift just for me
replacing whatever is left
to you I receive the support I should get
before I peel the walls down over again
I don't like writing sad things, but I've been eating tangerines lately and got inspired...

How many ways can it be said
A beating heart, the sweaty palms
A repetitive buzzing ringing through your head
Isn't it always the same

Isn't it always the same?
The boring circulation of the same old things
The boring reiteration of the same old flings
Tell me again what it is

Is it good?
Is it bad?
Is it exciting?
Is it sad?

How does it even matter
That universal experience we've all had
That familiar endless chatter
Of the same old feeling
I got bored at the end, and I got a little angry this morning

What can I say?
The lights strobe and dance around your face
Glimmering eye shadow reflecting a light gray
Clattering bangles cant seem to stay in place
A strong perfume that wont fade
Laughing in a daze my heart flutters
When the music drowns out and I look to you
Our night is made special, like none other

Each laser sculpts your body
Red stains cover your lips
Silently and nervously fumbling oddly
You frequently adjust your grip
Pretending to ignore that you trip over your feet
My smile emanates a comfortable calm
Pausing on the floor to bring you aside
Our night is made special, like none other

The fog wraps around you
Dark makeup covers obscures your face
Gliding and passing through
I'm trying to keep up with your pace
Making it a little game
Without missing a single beat
Sweeping you into my arms off your feet
Our night is made special, like none other
I keep writing about dancing . I need to go clubbing soon

Setting down our soil covered shirts
Separating the contents of our pockets
Stacking our ties neatly
Swiping the dirt from our cheeks
******* in our shaking breaths
Securing the ropes around our necks
Silently swaying on the bridge side
