What echoes in my mind Much louder than my love for you, Is a question of "what if?". "What if I wake up tomorrow, And you are gone; Gone in the arms of another And embracing what could have been us?". A thought lingers in me, Piercing through my skin, Suffocating and choking me, Making me gasp for air through the night. Even with love so great, I fear; "What if one day I am no longer yours, And you're no longer mine. With heavy chest and a light mind, Will I live or will I die?".

What If
What echoes in my mind Much louder than my love for you, Is a question of "what if?".
