If you walked away today Regret will consume what comes next It'd be the metallic taste in your mouth Every time you think of me The soft ringing in your ears As you drift into silent rooms Regret would be the monster in the dark Waiting for you to turn out the light Appearing to you in all the faces Of passing strangers This loss would be all consuming And yours to bare alone

Casually Miserable
If you walked away today Regret will consume what comes next It'd be the metallic taste in your mouth Every time you think of me The soft ringing in your ears As you drift into silent rooms Regret would be the monster in the dark Waiting for you to turn out the light Appearing to you in all the faces Of passing strangers This loss would be all consuming And yours to bare alone
