Hello poetry is not happy
Hello poetry is not well
Hello poetry is not healthy
Hello poetry's gone to hell

I see these thoughts and sentiments echoed
In different forms upon my wall
I feel it too as I click and stumble
As I watch and wait for the wheel crawl

I've only been here a little while
I like the format, I like the style
The thoughts, the words, 
The shares, the smiles
But why is loading
Such an arduous trail?

Hello poetry's not so bad
I've got plenty of patience
Hello poetry doesn't make me mad
It offers me contemplation

I click, I stumble
I wait, I mumble
"502, the gatekeepers in trouble..."

Lol.... Only those who have been here since its inception or at least  over the past decade will understand what we mean when we say, 

"Hello poetry is not happy
Hello poetry is not well
Hello poetry is not healthy
Hello poetry's gone to hell"

In the beginning Hello poetry was paradise but then came the riff-raff in the guise of poets. Their intent was not to write poetry but to play politics, indulge in illicit relationships, threaten and bully others, form coteries and expect their groups to reign over others and remain loyal to them, sling mud on all those who speak the Truth or oppose them, etc

This may sound rather pessimistic and discouraging to the newbies here but that's the Truth and we just can't sweep the Truth under the carpet.

Our presence here in spite of all the negative things happening here and the dysfunctional technology which hinders us here speaks volumes for our love of poetry....

The Admins here expect us to support this site but we poets are mostly broke and live a hand to mouth existence. Expecting poets to fund the site is rather futile on the part of the promoter. If he really wanted to make money from this site he should have created a site for billionaires not for poets....

Forgive the rather long rant but your interesting read served as a trigger to vent here...

On computer, while in write tab and before uploading, right click tab on browser// click "duplicate" and then copy/paste each text box of your poem into new write tab on your browser's duplicate tab. Make sure you have all your changes done before doing this and then close the previous tab. Upload onto hp site in whatever view mode you do, but only do it before or after the save tab is not in "saving draft" mode. Save your draft elsewhere before doing this just in case, but this is the only way to be a more trickery bastard than the tricky bastard's trickery is being so muhfuh bastardly tricky. Its all about timing.. even when you are editing an already posted piece. Keep trying and may all the Universe's power be with you.

The servers were choppy
