little tommy tortoise he got bored one day
decided he would visit some where far away
he built himself a boat and headed out to sea
looking for adventure adventure bound was he
after quite sometime he saw an island shore
tommy went ashore and decided to explore
then he heard a voice coming from a tree
tommy took a look to see what it could be.
there he saw a parrot a friendly chap was he
the parrot said to tommy come and play with me
then they played together having lots of fun
happy and content underneath the sun.
then they took a stroll along the island shore
looking for adventure decided to explore
after quite sometime they found a treasure chest
and to get it open tommy tried his best.
then the lid came open much to his surprise
it was full of treasure that lit up tommys eyes
there was lots of gold and some jewels too
lots of golden bracelets there were quite a few.
parrot was excited by what they both had found
in the treasure chest buried in the ground
now they both were rich in this land so far away
and they still live there to this very day.
