A quiet little girl
with blue eyes
and big brown curls
she would sit for hours
depriving herself of sleep
for days
imagining characters
making up plays
In her dreams ...
she floated on clouds with angel wings
there she heard the sound of violin strings
rocking her to sleep each night...
where her imagination would take flight.
