You find there is something comforting in the beauty of being alone, yet not lonely. it's as you said, you feel "peace" and "whole", definitely drama-free at the very least. I think it is compulsory to have some you-time every here and there, now and then- in order to appreciate yourself and explore your likes and dislikes as well as your own nature without having someone influence your decisions and actions. very beautiful small poem, you truly put the "more" in "less is more"&#128522;

I think a writer can never feel lonely.. his creativity is enough for companionship. Thoughts, ideas, people, topics, issues. A sensitive person has enough to ponder over. And poets are usually labelled as sensitive &#128522;

sublime indoctrination, nice poem but I do not agree with the sentiments expressed, Man is a sociable animal and a healthy positive attitude should facilitate endearing company around, except if you are a gang-stalking victim where all is done by nefarious perpetrators to isolate one. Being alone should not be a choice , its not good for a normal being unless a monk in retreat or Robinson Crusoe. Good write though.

Wow.  That's useful, at least never being lonely.  I swore I was loneliest in a crowd, have felt most keenly lonely after losing my best friend, have been certain I dearly wish to be married, and am probably a lot sillier than your wisdom here has delineated.  Lovely.

This is a very prolific ink stain. I can understand the analogy of being alone of your choice, your own free will. To engage, at times, the lines are somewhat blurred, it's the necessity never the exception to the rule.
