dappled light pours down from the heavens wind whispers through the leaves song birds declare their love for one another the orphan fawn just grieves. white bone glares through his tattered hide his stomach pines for help a cougar has slain his mother and injured the little whelp. he rests his head on his front hooves he takes a deep breath in life is just a vicious cycle and this one's at its end.
