As I walk upon this earth And look towards the sky, Thoughts creep into my head That I have to question 'Why'. The same sky I live under As many far away Who spend their life in terror In case a bomb should come their way. Children who dare not Go outside to see the sun, Or play and find mischief That all children name as fun. So sad their childhood Should bear the stamp of fear When parents can't tell them otherwise Regardless of how close they hold them near. The so called 'Wise adults' That decide upon a war Should think of little children Before they suffer more and more. http://www.heatherpwilsonpoems.com/

Suffer Little Children
