In her memory, I stayed happy, Without a trace of worry in my eyes. I was a traveller, her money spender, And she was proud of him and us. She knew he climbed the ladder, Remembered even that he moved away. She wasn’t sure where I was going, But still was ready to support my way. Her memory created something I would’ve saved from others’ eyes. I’m sorry I forgot about you, Grandma. I’ll carry it into the future and the past.
