I stand in the light
a new place to stay
I look around and realize I'm still in the dark
you are the one lighting my day
lighting the way
and I try with all my might
to stay, not fade away
you set a mark
on my cheek to say
that you love me always
& I stay & play this game
hiding my-self and healing you
all the costs are worth it
especially to see the smile on your face
