DESIRES OF LOVE
In eyes that shine like waters deep and bright,
Golden desires play, hidden from the sun,
Lips bloom with pollen grains of sweet delight,
Fragrant as dawn, when morning's work is done.
Your radiance, like sunrise, lights the way,
A burst of hope, that chases darkest night,
Inspiring verse, that seeks to make you stay,
A fleeting muse, of beauty and of light.
But as I pen these words, I know they're weak,
To capture you, a masterpiece divine,
Forged in the fire, of love's eternal seek,
A beauty shining, that my lines entwine.
Yet still I try, to hold your loveliness,
And in my words, your radiance confess.
