A Day In History

The air was crisp

As a beautiful city awoke to the calm before the storm

Like a movie without a script

The characters and events played on

Horrific times 3

Our world had truly changed

As a nation we cried out

The answer why whose to blame

Invaded by an unseen virus

Without warning unimaginable by size

Testimony of a real witness

A new revolution that many say

Would never be televised
