Apologies

I've shown you more of my mind,

Than I've shown myself.

You accept it without question

And refuse apologies.

Well,

With all of my sincerity

I apologize.

I apologize

For my rampant mind

That cannot organize

The sweet nothings you whisper to me with your eyes.

Sometimes I find I cannot speak,

Weak in the heart

Beat in the knees

Curling into your arms

Whispering worship up your sleeves.
