Turn me to your warm embrace,
and take me to a safer place.
Shield me from earths many woes,
And fight away my many foes.
Take me to the peace of sleep.
To depths of slumber that are so deep.
Show me rest this coming night.
Rejuvenate me for my next fight.
For now I lay my head to rest.
To get ready for tomorrow’s next test.
God, Protect my friends this coming night
Take away their worry and their fright.
Show them mercy, and show them love
Bring their minds to the stars above
Sing them dreams of happiness, and light
Send them dreams of glorious flight.
