The Clock Strikes

The clock strikes 6, her hairs already up

Every strand perfectly placed

The clock strikes 7, her outfits all laid out

Down to the shoes perfectly laced

The clock strikes 8, her makeup skillfully applied

Not one flaw or blemish to see

The clock strikes 9, down the stairs she goes

Standing in the door like a prince waiting for she

The clock strikes 10, she's smiling at him

He gets her straight down to the core

The clock strikes 11, she's in total bliss

She's never felt this way before

The clock strikes 12, her nights almost over

He walks her to the door and ends it with a kiss

The clock strikes 1, shes in her bed

Dreaming of her night and shining armor Chris
