Lighthouse, built upon the sand Of masonry so thick, Wrought of gold and silver. Grand! Built up Brick by Brick. Your light"s the finest ever made! Your precious stones, they glitter! All trouble seems to turn, then fade Butterflies swan and flitter! You've worked so hard to build it! You took such precious time! You wasted not a second to sit You wanted it Sublime! It WANTED you to work for it! It berated with a frown, But when the storm and lightning hit It came tumbling down! For it was built on sand, my friend, Those who built it did not care. No Foundation held it, in the end, It's destruction brought despair. Ships there sailing on the sea Crashed on the horrid rocks! No one paid that they'd be free They didn't walk their talks. That lighthouse built upon the sand It is deadly, friend. But it is all so wonderfully planned! So they built it all again. SoulSurvivor aka Write of Passage 2022
