As I continue to venture through love, each day reveals something new. It isn’t the love I see on television— easy, scripted, always in bloom. Love can ache. Love asks for sacrifice. Love learns the language of rejection. And yet—there is John 3:16, and the quiet command of 2 John 1:6. Love is patient. Love is kind. Love does not fail— as Scripture reminds me in Corinthians and in Romans. Still, the greatest of these will always be love. So when I begin to question what love is, I return to its Author, its first breath, its beginning. Because God Is Love.
