When you were there I couldn’t remember But when you were gone That’s all I remember You left You died I hate you I miss you The you that died Wasn’t really you Yet you’re both gone One in the same Two sides to a coin One day it stopped No longer flipping with life Laying on the permanently dark side That is how you died Alone in the dark You’re actions put you there Not mine But now I’m here In the dark And I can’t get out Part of me is gone I hate you I miss you You left You died
