I’m in the fight of my life A battle of wrong and right To win, I’m going to need help It’s a battle between me and myself The good news is that I’m winning The bad news, it’s only the beginning I’ve reached a high plateau That no one but me knows If and when you’re told, your head would soon explode I stay quite, so no one will hear The sound of my greatest fears Forgiveness for all that I’ve done Hand holding the **** of a gun I’ve survived and learned to adapt No longer am I under attack My destain for myself Has been put on a shelf    And now I live in harmony At peace with my inner soul A chance to move on forward With what we reap and sow
