I can only look back on what I was The day I fell for you. A feeling with a driven cause And I knew you felt it too. If I had only learnt how To bury my worn past. Live in what comes now. Shed light on heavy shadows cast. It's just so hard to see With sun rays in my eyes. How they used to move me When waiting between goodbyes. Maybe it's the single thought That no memory stops in time. Leaving me so **** distraught All their beauty velvet and sublime. Although they may have come and gone All the times I have fought through, I've come to realize just like the dawn New memories come around, and so do you.

My current boyfriend actually made this into a song long before I really knew him over a year ago. It seems funny now.
