The blur soon ensues
Clouds behind masks
Behind eyes
Deep within clouded minds.
Cease the toil
Finish beer, Laptop
Air conditioning, lights, alarm
Leave the office.
On my drive home
I realise
It's my birthday
Continue to drive.

In the door
