Today my head broke and Out poured rain from the cracks In porcelain But thats ok, its just the weather Maybe tomorrow the sun will come And he will put it back Together again My smile will taste like Petrichor I will have to wear sunglasses Despite the clouds My gloom refracts his light And my eyes will burn in his Someday - one day I hope for a rainbow Even a manufactured one Like a bullet shot into a lake And color between mist It is hard To put so much hope and light Into one flimsy man But even the devil is pitiful Sometimes Today my head broke again It hadn’t healed the first time So I was still dripping with melancholy When the thunder hit me That’s ok, petrichor slips between My teeth again I am the sky and My sun will never come again
