By The-Drifter-From-Heaven I will always remember your name, I keep dreaming that face of longing, I search sunset for our sweet refrain, I cling to darkness, walking through sadness. Just to taste our love's sweetest ashes, And drink the morning dew of madness, To caress the remnant of my losses, Holding to the faded warmth of love's nest. I cry gently watching at heaven's gate, Listening to our love's sorrowful dirge, My last glimpse of our yesterday's blue, But my last thoughts will still be you.
