When I return to the earth And come back as moss Sprawled over some bog that you swear I was sent from You'll be the bug Nestled so deep Comfy and cozy Happy and free For it never was a potion A hex Nor a curse It was your clear devotion And my matching words That will always bring us together in this twisted universe But go ahead and blame me for all the bad in this life As if I'm just some siren desperate to be your evil wife Like I wasn't here when you showed me your worst I still followed your trail when you left me in the dirt But I have no loyalty a whorish nomad you'd say I never could do right and I never learned how to stay I didn't chase you out of love I just wanted spare change How could you believe that when I loved you through the pain?
