You must be British.  This is not a criticism.  I happen to have a large amount of British heritage.  However, it never ceases to amaze me the value of a good cup of tea to the English.  It soothes and seems to fix any situation.  I suppose it's better than a "stiff drink," although that is another thing one sees in British videos, brandy and tea.  It has long fascinated me.  One of you Britts should do a clever poem on the phenomena!
