i play my guitar late at night,
quiet, so i don't wake the house
when i should be in bed.
some of the songs i sing for you,
but most for me.
not perfect.
but maybe better.
years later,
i will play my guitar and sing as loud as i want,
whatever time of day,
and all the songs will be for me.
things will never be perfect,
but i promise
i'll get better.
