Fantasies and Christmas trees in the mind of a little boy Counting sheep to help him sleep so he can wake and feel the joy As he lays in bed holding his teddy real tight With his pillow on his head not to hear them fight The words that are spoken are due to stress He often feels his life is a mess. He has finished his chores and so much more. By working his farm until his back was sore. Peace on earth would be a beautiful pleasure, Peace in his house he would surely treasure. He thinks of Santa when making his list, And hopes with his heart that he will not be missed. Fantasies and Christmas trees in the mind of a little boy.
