I am a leaf fallen from the tree, The big wide world for me to see, From the tall mountain peaks, To the mighty rivers and clear creeks. I was happy that I was finally free, A travelling nomad, who I always wanted to be, Along the way I met friend, I believed, we will be together till the end. Just as it came, it left me without a trace, The joy and sorrow, without it I must face, I counted the minutes, hours and days, One day it came back like warm rays, Being next to its side, the eternal joy I find, Spending all eternity, I wouldn’t mind, A tribute to my dear friend, “The Gentle WIND” By - Venkat Raghavan
