what good are birthdays? voided triumphs, cake frosted nostalgia. clock tickings wounding with the never ending stretching of no time, everyone’s hidden intents as sparkled toppings—you should learn you have to let go you have to be better you need to grow up you are okay, you are not okay. the world claws behind me and i am not running, i have stopped running, i am letting the cake eat me. this is not my world, how good are birthdays.
