He was a mountain
And she was the sad summer sky
And She cried rivers of tears down him
That ran into pools of sorrow
But no matter what
He always made her smile
He made her the early spring dawn
Eager to be alive
And he waited every morning
To see her open her eyes
But now, her tears are for him
She can't bear that he lies in the cold
On the hill, below the green
Wrapped in his blanket, with his favorite toys
And her tears fall on the hard ground
All alone and without his brown to hold
