we are bound in shackles hands and feet tied together following like a dog with its tail between its legs we are slaves to the sun yet still we yearn for him are sad when he’s gone and pray for him to come back hello mr. sun how are you today ? thanks for coming back, we missed you oh mr. sun could you stay out longer to play ? we love the sun although he can hurt us we feel safe in the warmth of his rays but too long underneath him we get burned even still we hate the clouds although they are only trying to shield us and provide some relief and we bully the moon for she is not the same as the sun she doesn’t grant us warmth and her light is so small she doesn’t nearly light up the sky the way the sun does but she shares the sky with the stars she doesn’t control the light but shines through because she revolves around us while we’re too busy revolving around the sun this is not about the sky
