Inside my walls so gray
without a trace of light
Tomorrow will be the same
for their both as dark as
night
They say I had no feelings I
couldn't laugh smile or cry
I thought one day I would
take my own life or if I
could just lie down and die
Then I thought about my
people my mother and the
tears she might cry
So I hit my knees I bowed
my head and this is what I
said
Thank you God for loving
me giving me another day
Thank you God for loving
me showing me there is
another way
Thank you God for loving
me for it is you why I'm
still here today
