My glass. I'm supposed to fill it every day, every night. Water is good for you. Everyone knows that. I take a sip, Then I set the glass down for later. Water takes up space. It's surprising, actually, how much. Sometimes someone else fills my glass for me. That's nice. Then I don't have to worry about it. The water disappears a little at a time. A sip here. A sip there. Until the glass is empty. Then they seem relieved. To me, The soil still feels damp. At least, I think it does. I can wait a little longer. Roots don't need water every day, do they? The leaves are still green. Mostly. Maybe a little thinner. Maybe hanging a little lower. But they're still there. I think that's enough. It's not like I hate water. Water is good for you. Everyone knows that.

I'm more of a sunflower person.
