It was instant like coffee.
That’s how our love was from the start.
It was love at first sight, like one of those fairytales.
Our eyes met, I saw into his soul, he saw into mine.
The rest was fate, saying we were meant to be together…
And how he makes me feel when we are together.
My heart beats double time with every sweet word he says.
My eyes water with tears of compassion and joy
with every gift he gives me.
My cheeks blush bright red with every hug.
I go into a love struck daze with every kiss.
I gave him my heart, and he gave me his in return.
What more could a girl ask for?
