Pain that pierce
Deep into the heart
Difficult to breath
Gasping with sobs
Coming up to the surface
Would it not burst
from so much pressure
Pop right out of the chest
Can it hold so much pain
and still palpitate
I often wonder
Does it not seek freedom
to leave this rib cage
Or won't it not seek revenge
and create a poisonous cycle
to sicken and destroy
the entire five foot cage
Is it only a matter of time
until that happens
