Such a long time coming
Here we are
A long road that has yet to be finished
Thank God I survived
Barefoot and empty handed
But I survived
I reached my halfway mark today
Lots of twists and turns
Broken glass littered the highways
Abandoned cars
I did not give up hope
For I reached a milestone
