In our past life We were Knights With our chain mail flat chest and swords We were sun-beaten Shepherds Roaming infinite plains Sunset-lit nights and heavy sultry days. Then Princes racing On some Orange land Breathless. Daring. Alive Eternal smiles and Blue crackling eyes. Imprisoned now in this soft flesh You are crowned in yours. Seeking and do not recognise Beyond this sticky form Imprisoned now in this soft flesh
