Here's something for the upcoming winter solstice... The darkness of the season The coldness on my skin I reach out for comfort Embraced briefly If for a moment A shroud of sublime In this the illumination Prayers in a whisper Hope in the sparkling luster on the wings Of an angel The one and the many Converge by existence In calm serenity that beckons With each light Lifting towards the heavens This spirit with no body My edification Giving unconditionally For the weak For the strong Forgiveness and freedom
