The room smelled of forgotten promises. Dust curled in sunbeams, the piano sighing songs we never finished. A photograph – bent corners; a letter pressed smooth, its words folded into silence. Your laughter trembles through empty walls, shadows shimmer and fade… and I remain where your laughter once lived.

The Scent of Goodbye
The room smelled of forgotten promises. Dust curled in sunbeams, the piano sighing songs we never finished. A photograph – bent corners; a letter pressed smooth, its words folded into silence. Your laughter trembles through empty walls, shadows shimmer and fade… and I remain where your laughter once lived.
A meditation on the traces someone leaves behind the objects, silences, and echoes that remain after goodbye.
