A poem by my grandmother Oh, I am so lonely for someone, Who will love me and who will be true, Whose tender caresses and kisses Will change my dull skies to gay hue! Someone who'll set my heart Singing A song that is merry and gay; Someone who'll tell Love's old Story - Oh, someone, please come some day! For me there's no sun in the heavens, Though for others it brightly beams; There's no twinkling star in the night time, To guide me to sweet Land O' Dreams If someone will tell me he loves me, My sadness will quickly depart. Oh, Someone; Please come to me Someday, and bring joy to my lonely heart.
