Endless waves of anxiety. Freezing winter nights. I keep my inner calm — The strength of spirit stays with me
Written in Kyiv during the ongoing war. Tanka — a Japanese form, five lines. Anxiety comes in waves. So does winter. So does the war. What stays constant is something quieter and harder to name — but it stays.
