Stripped of their dignity
and
led into penury by those
sharks at the treasury,
and for what?
certainly not for what they've got.
A tragedy for everyone
the young and the elderly,
except for the
'I'm alright Jack's '
who say,
'Well,
that doesn't affect me'
and they're index linked at the ministry,
all
nodding their heads as they lecture me
about the need for fiscal responsibility.
No surprise then that the black economy
is booming,
there's
room in the back of the lorry
something fell off.
