Out of sight, out of mind

Gone from my mind,

Left everything behind.

No trace of disappearance,

No bread crumb trail.

Vanished without a trace,

Just to escape this place.

This place of emptiness,

Hole of lifeless despair.

Find the clean crisp air,

Hide from the city lights.

Burst into the sky,

Fly with angels on high.

I will be gone from thought,

If only for awhile.
