Let sleet grey skies darken, And the wind vanes spin insane, Let it drizzle, let it pour, let it pound, I’ll be dancing in the rain. Let thunder sound its drums, Raw, loud untamed, Let raindrops pelt their music, Upon the window pane. Let lightening flash in silver, Across night’s ebon mane, Those twisted streaks of light, I’ll be dancing in the rain. Let clouds fill and burst, Let heavens touch the plains, Let water meet the rivers, Making merry on musty lanes. Let the wind sing its song, Leaves hum a refrain, Trees, like me, we’ll be dancing, We’ll be dancing in the rain Written 15 years ago (Hard to keep up with the dancing now)
