In the silence of the dark Slipping out in the cold Walking into a trap I set up myself Hey again, the first time in a while The light illuminating you, an ephemeral spark As the hour turned I found myself in your arms again The cold and tension pulling us closer A compensation for my misdeed Fueled by my newfound regret
